The Slam
The monthly poetry slam features 3 main events

a workshop curated to upskill poets for a career in poetry

a slam competition where ten poets slam it out for a cash prize and the title of slam champion

a creative showcase presented by an established industry professional
The event aims to celebrate the art of spoken word and poetry, providing an inclusive space for both emerging and established poets to share their work. It is a space for healthy competition, comradery and constructive criticism.
